How old do you have to be?
Camp Swonder is geared for ages 6 to 12. Please see below for the CIT ages and info.

Camp Swonder will offer multiple child discount
$10.00 per child after the first

Camp Swonder Hours
Camp will 7:30am and pick up at 5:30pm. Please make sure
camper has a complete breakfast before arriving.

What to bring to Camp Swonder
Each camper will need to bring a swim suit, towel, sunscreen, his or her
ice skates. Camp Swonder will provide your camper skates if they don't
have them. Campers will need to have a bag for all their belongings.
Please put your child's name on all belongings.

 

Camper safety and group ratio
Each camp counselor will receive CPR training and provide a fun and
positive atmosphere for the campers.
There will be no more than 12 campers per camp counselor.

 

No need to bring a sack lunch, Camp Swonder will provide it!

Monday: Deli Sandwich, Vegetables & Dip, Chips, Juice
            Snack: Snack Crackers, Juice

Tuesday: Pizza, Fruit Cup, Juice
            Snack: Snack Crackers, Juice

Wednesday: Deli Sandwich, Apple, Chips, Milk
            Snack: Chocolate Pudding, Milk

Thursday: Grilled Cheese, Chips, Apple, Milk
            Snack: Snack Crackers or Ice Cream Cup, Juice

Friday: Deli Sandwich, Fruit Cup, Chips, Juice
            Snack: Ice Cream Cup, Juice

CIT Program - REGISTRATION STARTS March 5, 2008
This course will prepare youth for future employment in the Parks & Recreation or Summer Camps fields. CIT will be taught basic camping & leadership skills. CIT's need to understand they are part of the Camp Counselor team and NOT campers. CIT's that do not follow instructions/guidelines from the Camp Swonder Staff will not be allowed to return to Camp Swonder.

This coarse is designed for youths 13 to 15 years of age. Enrollees will receive a certificate for course completion. Course is taught by experienced recreation leaders. Lunch is included in the price.

CIT sessions are one week sessions
Cost for the CIT program is $100.00 per session. (new price)
